Our Parish

St. Bernard’s is situated in the parish of Our Lady of Furness along with the Catholic primary schools of Holy Family, Sacred Heart, St. Columba’s and St. Pius X. We also serve the parishes of St. Francis of Assisi in Millom and Sts. Mary and Margaret, which covers Ulverston and Dalton-in-Furness.

Our parish priest Fr Manny and lay deacon Steve visit our school regularly to celebrate Mass and Liturgy of the Word, supporting the formation and growth of our young people.
We are proud of the positive contribution of our young people to the parish as servers and readers, and we join with parishioners and our partner Catholic primary schools in celebrating Mass together, as well as other activities in support of our faith.
